The SportFilmFestival 2009 is interested in films from a variety of genres and formats, including fiction, , documentaries, Animated, Paralympic features and shorts. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Submitting Your Films to the 2009 SportFilmFestival The early entry deadline is 30 september 2009 Before downloading the entry form please consult the submissions guidelines below. General Information If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact the festival's production director, bea.faranna@sportfilmfestival.it Language: Films can be in the original language but must be with English sub-titles Genres: Fiction features and shorts Documentary features and shorts Animated features and shorts Paralympic features and shorts Entry Procedures Mail completed form (download here) along with a screening copy (Region 2 PAL) of your film(s) to: It is preferred that submissions be accompanied by as much of the following as possible: SportFilmFestival -Via Ugo La Malfa, 28/30-90146 Palermo, Italia Film synopsis Photo of filmmaker and film photo Production still(s) Filmmaker's biography and filmography Other publicity material: hardcopy (posters, reviews, etc.) or digital (stills, trailers, etc.) Selection and Delivery Promotion: The Festival and its media partner reserve the right to use excerpts of, and to reproduce photos of, the production for promotion and publicity purposes. Filmmaker attendance: Filmmakers of some selected productions will be invited to the Festival and will be the Festival's guests, including only the hotel accommodation. Exhibition If selected, Exhibition videos and film prints must arrive at the SportFilmFestival no later than 30 september 2009. The following formats are acceptable: Digital Betacam , Betacam SP, Betacam SX, Betacam (PAL) DVCam, mini DV (PAL), DVD (PAL) The entrant is responsible for all costs associated with shipping the exhibition film/print.
